Central Testing Laboratory Achieves High Results in Proficiency Testing

The Central Testing Laboratory successfully participated in the Proficiency Testing (PT) involving 14 laboratories and achieved high results across all analysis areas. Proficiency testing is one of the internationally recognized quality assurance mechanisms conducted to assess the accuracy, precision, and reliability of laboratory analytical results. During the test, the same samples are provided to all participants, and the results obtained are evaluated based on Z-score indicators. Participation in such tests is also one of the key requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. Our laboratory participated in the following analyses within the framework of the test: • Physical-chemical analyses of water samples: pH, total hardness, magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca), bicarbonates, and chlorides. • Microbiological analyses: total bacterial count, mold and yeast fungi, coliform bacteria. • Analyses of vegetable oil: peroxide value, moisture and volatile matter content, free fatty acids, and refractive index. Based on the final results of the test, the Central Testing Laboratory obtained results fully compliant with the acceptance criteria in all analyses in which it participated. This achievement once again confirms the high level of our laboratory’s technical competence, the professionalism of our staff, and the quality management system in place. At the same time, this result is an important indicator that the decisions made at our institution are based on reliable analytical results.
