The management team of “Veysəloğlu Distribution” became acquainted with advanced logistics practices in the United Kingdom

Tural Jafarli, Supply Chain Director and member of the Board of Directors of “Veysəloğlu Distribution,” a company within the Veysəloğlu Companies Group, and Fakhri Cabbarli, Head of the Warehouse Operations Department, paid a business visit to the United Kingdom with the aim of gaining experience and applying international best practices within the Companies Group. As part of the visit, the management team toured the logistics centers of leading distribution companies in the United Kingdom — James Hall & Co. LTD in Manchester, Henderson Group in Northern Ireland, and A.F. Blakemore in London — which stand out for their modern, automated, robotic, and high-tech solutions. They became closely acquainted with the advanced warehouse management systems implemented at these centers, robotic technologies, automated processes for product picking and sorting, as well as digital supply chain management models. During the meetings, views were exchanged on modern logistics trends, optimization of work processes, and ways to increase efficiency. The main purpose of the visit was to explore new opportunities for aligning the supply chain operations of “Veysəloğlu Distribution” — including demand forecasting, procurement, warehouse operations, domestic and international transportation, logistics infrastructure, and more — with international standards, introducing innovative technologies, and increasing overall efficiency.
